Football season is approaching and football fans got a taste of next season thanks to the Asia Premier League Cup and the International Champions Cup. The latter put last season’s FA finalists in action at the Bird’s Nest Stadium in China.

It was Chelsea’s turn to hand out some payback as they emerged clear winners thanks to goals from Mitch Batshuayi and Willian. But it is the build up to Batshuayi’s second goal that would be the talking point of that incredible match.

Chamberlain left counting his blessings. One by one.

Chelsea winger Marcos Alonso lurched on a superb cross from Cesc Fabregas before totally embarrassing Alex Chamberlain and leaving him on the ground counting his blessings one by one. It was a friendly where Chelsea meant business.
